Has Tension On The Indo-China Border Now Gone?

India and China have accused each other of the clash over the Line of Actual Control (LAC). In this clash, 20 soldiers of the Indian Army have been killed.

According to reports, there has been no firing from both the sides but there has been a long scuffle due to which the soldiers were seriously injured and then died.

BBC correspondent Nitin Srivastava spoke to the former Army Chief of India General VP Malik and wanted to know how serious the situation on the border is at this time.

General VP Malik says that where there was tension over the scene earlier, it would have increased even more after this sad incident and along with it the anger would have come in both the army.

According to him, "Today it will be angry across the country that twenty of our soldiers have died."
